History of Aderhold Properties, Inc.
On Monday, August 5, 1996, Aderhold Properties, Inc. (API) opened it`s doors in an office trailer on the grounds of the unfinished Fulton Cotton Mill in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The owners of the API were John Aderhold (Chairman), Louis Brown (President) and Tom Aderhold (Vice President). The employees of this new company numbered nineteen (19), which included the corporate office personnel and the field personnel of The Roosevelt Apartment Homes, The Lofts at the Muses, The Brumby Chair Factory and the Roxy Lofts. The above four (4) loft apartment home complexes (370 units) represented the core beginning of API.
John Aderhold (Chairman) has the responsibility of overseeing the overall operation of API. John`s experience has proved to be invaluable in our growth and prosperity.
Tom Aderhold (President) is responsible for the day to day operations of API.
Polly Finch (Vice President) is responsible for the overall management of API`s completed properties.
The company was started primarily to renovate historic structures and place them back into service. Our mission statement says it best:
" The purpose of Aderhold Properties is to become the leader in creating unique living spaces for its residents and to provide a level of customer service that is unsurpassed. We shall always conduct our business affairs in a highly professional and ethical manner. By accomplishing the above, our employees, our partners, and our shareholders shall be justly rewarded."
Since our beginning, API has completed The Fulton Cotton Mill lofts (505 units) and completed the Canton Mill Lofts (315 units). There are now six (6) complexes involving 1190 units under Aderhold Properties ownership and control. Also, our family of employees has increased to over 45 people.
Our future looks bright with the prospect of additional complexes being developed and managed by Aderhold Properties, Inc. Our goal is to maintain a family atmosphere while continuing to grow throughout the years.
